As part of our discussions on traditions and celebrations in Social Studies, I am asking students ( with your help) to please complete at home the following two sheets and have them back by Monday December 5th. I know that many of you have bigger families (than the tree holds!), so just fit what you can of the most immediate and go from there.

Jingle Walk

Dear Parents,

As we approach December, I wonder if you might be able to check your calendars to see if you are available to give us a hand on the day we hand out flyers and the day we pick up donations for our annual Jingle Walk. It will be on the 9th and 12th.

We had a nice visit to City Hall today. Thanks again to all of the drivers who volunteered and helped to make it possible. We got some time wi the Mayor, and a glimpse of the inner workings of City Hall.

Dear Parents,

As mentioned in Natalie's email, we were just given the opportunity to visit City Hall (in relation to our Social Studies) but as we are on a very short timeline and the students are not back in until Tuesday, I asked if she could let parents know as soon as possible to see if we could round up enough drivers. 

The field trip is on Tuesday November 22 at 11:00 (for about 30-45 minutes) so we would need driver help on either side of that.

If you happen to know ahead of this Tuesday before the notice goes out that you might be able to drive, please don't hesitate to email me directly.
