Some reminders for upcoming events etc.

Spelling- grade 2 students have some practice sheets due by Monday the 27th

Fun Day orders- due by this Friday, no later will be accepted

Mahon Park- still looking for more drivers and awaiting some forms to come in

Ice Cream Social notices coming home tomorrow.

Some upcoming reminders:

Spelling- both groups should be practicing their words

Outdoor Learning- looking for volunteers for next Wednesday May 8 between recess and lunch. You may contact me directly or via email.

Scholastic- orders due by May 7

May 6- Pro-d (no classes in session)

Social Studies- we have been talking about different landforms and waterbodies, both locally and globally(2's), and for grade 1's also starting to talk about local man-made features in the environment e.g. bridges, dams
I encourage you to talk about what some of these things might be, and well as some names of specific examples.

KM Club- we have now had our first ribbon ceremony and students are working hard to get to their next goal.

And just like that, our chicks have grown even more, and they are now on their way to the farm. It was exciting to have them here and provided many learning moments.
