Here are a few parting pictures of our last time with the baby chicks. It was a pleasure to have them!

Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to have welcome several chicks into our open area through last night and into today. Students were fortunate enough to get a look at some of the different stages of the hatching and you can well imagine how excited we all were to see them!

We will have them until next Tuesday, then they will be picked up and relocated to the farm that they came from.

Dear Parents,

Kids are doing a great job with kilometre club! And we have been fortunate with the weather; hopefully it keeps up. We are on for tomorrow first thing. Our first ribbon ceremony will be first thing next Monday morning.

Spelling- our words this week are "ch"

We are anxiously awaiting to see if tomorrow or the next day brings the arrival of any baby chicks.

Scholastic- a reminder that the next order is due in by tomorrow.

We are currently looking at some different poetry forms, so feel free to encourage your child to look at even simple nursery rhymes or other types of poetry that you might have on hand.

Dear Parents,

A reminder that tomorrow is km club, so please send your child prepared for the weather.

Math- we are wrapping up our unit on measurement and beginning adding and subtracting with bigger numbers. Please be encouraged to incorporate adding and subtracting of larger numbers in your day to day activities with your child.
