Dear Parents,

Here is a little update.

Please continue to get forms and comfort kits in as soon as possible, especially Walking Field Trip ( as the Terry Fox Run is approaching) and the Media Release forms that allow us to put pictures on our blogs.

Reminders- tomorrow is our Meet The Teacher evening, with the primary teachers meetings first, a gathering of all for introductions in the gym second, then meetings with intermediate teachers. we hope you are able to come out!

Fun lunch orders can now be done online.

Professional Day- this coming Friday (no classes in session)

Say "Goodbye to Summer"- tomorrow we encourage students to come with a hat, sunglasses, a beach towel, even summer clothes for a little celebration of the official end of summer. Next week we will be wellcoming in Fall!

Guided Reading will be kicking off next week, as well as Spelling. We have been spending some time in Math looking at patterns, and we have been discussing classroom expectations and social responsibilities.

Dear Parents,

Welcome to another school year! My name is Lisa Kam and my partner is Lauren Startup.

Over the coming weeks please be watching for any forms or notices that come home that may need to be filled out and returned, and for some, they may be done online.

If your child has a Homework Bag at home from last year, please be sure to send it back, along with any remaining School Supplies as soon as possible.

Important- this coming Thursday Sept. 14 is Photo Day

Dear Parents,

The end of the year is here!

We had a great walk lunch and play at Ray Perrault Park yesterday and students will be sending off the grade 7's tomorrow in their final assembly. Thank you all for the lovely gifts. Very thoughtful.

As we wind down this last week, Christina and I wish you all the best in your summer adventures and look forward to seeing you in the fall.

Quick reminder-please make sure your child brings in their homework bag by tomorrow.

Dear Parents,

Hard to believe we are entering the final 2 weeks!

Km Club- we have 2 more running days left and our final ribbon ceremony on Thursday.

Library books- if you have any overdue books please help your child to return them as soon as possible

Year End- in order to start sending things home with the children, we ask that you please send a bag (separate from the backpack)

June 27- we are looking at an Area B outing to The park at Grand Boulevard. Details will be coming, but we will likely need a couple of PARENT WALKERS if you are available.
