Orange Shirt Day

Dear Parents,
Today we had an assembly in connection with Orange Shirt Day. Students watched a video clip, as well as heard stories read by Mr. Kelly. As a follow up activity, students in the school are being asked to bring in a (non-decorated) rock that they have chosen, not too big, not too small, a just-right-for-them rock that we will be decorating. I have asked students to have by WEDNESDAY morning please.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kam

As well, a notice may be going home today regarding bringing in a few items to say "Goodbye Summer" and for Tuesday to bring in some kind of Fall artifact they may have collected over the weekend to say "Hello Fall"!

Cops For Cancer

Cops For Cancer

Sept. 19

Yesterday we were fortunate to have the riders of the Cops for Cancer come to visit our school. We tied it into raising awareness with our upcoming Terry Fox Run, and recognizing 2 brothers in our school that each had long hair that chose to cut it and donate it.
