September 9, 2019

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Grade 2! Great to see some familiar faces, as well as some new ones for this coming school year.
There will be plenty of information as we move forward but next Tuesday September 17 is our Meet the Teacher night where Mrs. Moxey and I will be talking about many things related to the class and answering any questions you may have.

In the meantime, Fun Lunch ordering is now open.
As well, we are reminded to ask that any paperwork that we need to collect for the office be brought in when ready.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kam

June 7, 2019

Dear Parents,

Fun Day- a big thanks to Mrs. Dolan for leading the organization of all things Fun Day!

Bike to School- it was great to see all of the kids out with bikes and scooters for decorating and parading. Great show of support for a wonderful initiative.

Ice Cream Social- enjoyed getting to see many of you last night to get some scoops of ice cream. We TRULY APPRECIATE the help and support of families in a variety of capacities as we go about our day to day activities theoughout the school year.

KM Club- students have been working extra hard as we now enter our final week. At the end, students will get any remaining ribbons, as well as a certificate of their grand total.

Outdoor Learning- I am aiming for June 19

Mahon Park Year End- a reminder to please get permission forms in if you haven't yet.
Drivers- thank you in advance for your help. All of those that said they were able to drive will be needed. I sent home a notice with students this week listing some reminders of the various forms that the office requires us to have in. if you aren't sure what you may or may not have, please feel free to ask.

Choosing- we have now wrapped up for the year, but decided to do an Area B activity during that time last Tuesday. We went out to the grass field and played a game along the lines of capture the flag. The kids had a great time!

Thank you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kam
